I love the OS - it's beautiful. The search feature built into the Start menu is a life saver. I love the new look and feel of the desktop and navigation. But, does this make it worth it to dive into the pool of problems Vista is floating in? Maybe not. I'm beginning to believe more and more that I should have waited until Service Pack 1 to make the transition from XP. Well, I'm here now and have to deal with it. I can't get my drivers for hardware to work (and I'm only in 32-bit Vista!), there are multiple software incompatibilities (Nero Crashes EVERYTHING!), and my network hard drive is a pain to get working! Sheesh.
All I wanted to do the other day was burn a DVD from a movie I edited in Windows Movie Maker to meet a project deadline the next day. I had the movie ready to burn at 9:30 that night. Then, I had to stay up until 3:30 that morning to figure out a way to save the movie file to something I could travel with because NERO had decided to crash Windows DVD Maker and every possible way for me to save the movie file!!!!!! Acckk!
Hey, Microsoft did do something right... Way to go Office Team! The new UI is splendid. I actually enjoy the time I spend w/ Office Programs now. Oh, and also, OneNote 2007 is AMAZING! I've never used such a useful program before (and I don't even have a Tablet PC!). I've even found ways to use it for Audio purposes... it's crazy!!
Go Spurs! 3-1 series lead! Woo hoo! One more, guys... come on!
So, everyone in central Texas should listen to 106.7 PowerFM. Best station on the planet... well, in my little mind it is....
RAZR cells... don't buy one of the old or original models - they aren't that great... the UI is fine for me, but the hardware (as sleek as it is) is hardly durable. I don't know if the newer models are any better but... do your research carefully. Apple iPhone, anyone? Sadly, I can see where it's not going to be very durable either - just look at the iPod. Oh, and the price. I'm going to need more that a $300 rebate to afford this phone!
Shout out to Apple: Put Bluetooth capabilities into the next gen iPod! Please. Also, make a textured back for the unit instead of the smooth metal - it would really help the appearance of the iPod if it wasn't incessantly malled with scratches. Touch screen? I don't know... I would hate watching a movie through all my friends' finger prints.
Oh man, I found this really good restaurant on Lamar, near Rundberg. It's called Mandarin House, and it has a buffet to die for. The place was amazingly clean, even the restrooms! The food there was incredible - and it only cost 7 bucks... let's say, I stuffed myself. :-)
I'm looking into my options to start a GNLD Distributor Website... more on this to come.
Breakfast is calling. Later.

SUMMER
Wow. I can't believe it. School is actually over! I just turned in my last assignment by emailing it to my teacher. It's time for me to officially kick off my summer vacation, and I putting those words into practice with this first post of the summer on my blog! (Since some ppl have been nagging me about it.... hehe)
Wow. Wait, I already said that... yes, I did, but this is now a new topic. I said wow because I have to start two more ACC classes this Tuesday. I'm taking a Multimedia Flash course and a Small Business Management Class. Both should be fairly interesting.
Alright, so summer goals... here goes:
--> This one is so important that it gets an arrow instead of a number and goes at the top of the list... GET MY LICENSE!!!!! :-)
1) Work out - use the good ol' Bowflex daily, alternating daily between muscle groups.
2) Develope my relationship with my Heavenly Father - spend time with Him daily!
3) Keep my tech life updated - including this blog, legmar.com, mattlegler.com, and myspace.com/legmar
4) Go to Blood 'n Fire San Antonio!!
5) A+ Certification... this one's probably not going to happen... not enough time
6) Improve my Class website at bcs08.org and my youth group website at souledoutyouth.org
I also need to catch up on movie watching.... sheesh.
Okay, 11:48... yup, bedtime.
